1.SCARBOROUGH BLUFFS BEACH
You don’t have to get on a plane to experience beach-life. Just a short drive from K-Square you’ll find Bluffer’s Park Beach with a marina, parkland, swimming, fishing, and plenty of picnic areas for family-time. On scorching summer days sometimes you want to just stay in the comfortable air conditioning. Especially for the youngest and oldest members of your family. Agincourt Mall is a fun respite from the heat for folks of all ages. You’ll find all of your favourite brands under one roof for grownups and the Agincourt Mall Kids Club for your little ones with lots of summer events including face painters, caricature artists, balloon animals and more. http://agincourtmall.com/events/kids-club/

3. TORONTO ZOO SPLASH PAD
The Toronto Zoo has been entertaining and educating people for over 40 years now but one of our favourite activities doesn’t even include the over 5,000 incredible animals on site! Splash Island is a two-acre waterpark with slides, waterfalls, spouts, tipping buckets and cool mists that are guaranteed to keep the kids happy and entertained in the summer sun. With their relatively inexpensive family membership you can go every weekend.

4. COMMON GOOD BEER
What’s on tap? Fun! Craft beer enthusiasts will love visiting Common Good Brewery near K-Square Condos. This small batch brewery always has something delicious available for those who enjoy a nice, ice-cold pint in the summer. Or try a flight of their German Pilsners, pale, brown and red ales. It’s fun to watch them brew the beer right there on site!

Summer Evenings are really special at the nearby Scarborough Museum. These four lovely historical buildings are located along the winding garden pathways of nearby Thompson Memorial Park.
